Programmatic SEO

Hundreds of genuinely useful pages generated from your own data, with a gate so nothing thin goes live.

Our process

Build the gate before the generator. Nothing thin goes live.

DATA MODELFIELDTYPESRC
01

Data model

Define source table and data structure. Work out what each page needs and where the data comes from.

Outcome: Data model with every field documented and source identified.

02

Template design

Page templates with real variation between entries, not the same text with a noun swapped.

Outcome: Template producing pages a buyer would read, approved before generation.

03

Publish gate

Quality checks before anything goes live. Pages that fail stay unpublished until they pass.

Outcome: Automated checks on depth, duplication and completeness in place.

04

Generation and review

Generate pages, review a sample set. Nothing goes live without human review of the output.

Outcome: Sample set reviewed and approved before full publish.

Monitor and iterate

Track rankings and traffic by template. Refine templates based on what performs.

Outcome: Monthly report on indexed pages, rankings and traffic by template.

What is included

Data model

Working out what your source table should contain and where it comes from, whether that is your ERP, a product database or a spreadsheet somebody maintains.

Template design

Page templates that produce something a buyer would actually read, with real variation between entries rather than the same text with a noun swapped.

Publish gate

Automated checks on content depth, duplication and completeness. Pages that fail stay unpublished. This is the difference between this working and damaging the site.

Derived fields

Values computed at render time rather than stored, so pages stay correct as the underlying data changes without a rebuild.

Index and cache management

Sitemap handling, crawl budget, and cache purging so new and updated pages are picked up without stale versions being served.

CSV import and maintenance

A route for your team to add and update entries without touching code.

Problems we have solved

Described by the problem rather than by the client.

A catalogue invisible below the category level

What we found

Individual products existed in a database but not as pages. All search visibility sat on broad category terms, which are the most competitive and the least specific.

What we built

Generated specification pages per product with application context, gated on content completeness, with the incomplete entries flagged back to the client's team to fill.

What changed

Long-tail specification searches started landing on the exact product page instead of a category listing.

A generated set that had to be rolled back

What we found

Before us, a previous attempt had published a large number of near-identical pages. The site's overall visibility had fallen.

What we built

Removed and consolidated the thin pages, then rebuilt the programme with a publish gate so the same failure could not recur.

What changed

Visibility recovered, and the second attempt published a fraction of the page count with considerably more effect.
